How about something fun?
Check out this freaky illusion. Basically you stare at the dot in the center of the picture for a few seconds and then mouse over the picture. The picture will look like it has normal coloring. Now look away from the dot. Surprise! The picture is actually black and white, but your eyes superimpose the photonegative of the coloring from the first picture making it seem colored.
Maybe it is cooler than it sounds.

That is actually kind of freaky.

I keep wanting to look at the pretty picture in color, and then as soon as I move my eyes, it’s back to black and white. It’s actually kind of depressing. Like someone’s dangling something just out of my reach, and when I lean out, they just whisk it away. Now I have to go Google some pretty castle pictures in color so that I don’t feel let-down…

What’s also interesting is that the longer I stare at the dot in the color version, I see the color slowly fade. That sentence was poorly constructed, but I’m to lazy to make it better.
