If you like NPH (and who doesn’t?) or Once more with feeling, you better be quick and check out Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog. Word on the street is that it is only free until tonight at midnight.
Basically, it is a short (~39 minutes) musical about Dr. Horrible (NPH) who is a sort of lame super villian. He blogs and sings his way through meeting the woman of his dreams at the laundromat and fights with his archnemisis Captain Hammer (played by that guy who is in every Joss Whedon production, the one from Firefly). It is fun and funny and the songs are actually pretty good. It doesn’t try to take itself seriously, but it does kind of try to take itself seriously.
Anyway, if you’re looking for some time to kill, I certainly enjoyed it!
Edit: I forgot to mention that the link was courtesy InteractiveReader!
Absolutely amazing! I’ve watched it several times now. 🙂

I totally loved it. But then, being a Whedon fan, I was probably predisposed to. Practically required. Glad you enjoyed it, though.

@#*$^&!!!! I missed it!
I din’t know they were going to take it down, and when I tried to watch it, the bandwidth was terrible. I first heard about it from another blogger in Norway who tried about a half dozen times to get a good enough connection that she could watch it all the way through.
Sometimes being in Norway sucks.
But then, we’ll probably just take advantage of the lax file-sharing restrictions and see if we can snag a free download.
And in other NPH news, we watched the second Harold & Kumar film yesterday. It was crap. Except for part of NPH’s scene, because NPH playing NPH is always a good time.

I missed the free showing too but I got it from I Tunes and it was worth the money. Loved every minute of it!
