Turning the big ??

Happy Birthday Sara!

I’m not sure if she cares or not, but I won’t say how old. Of course I did use two question marks, so that does narrow it down to between 10 and 99.

And now Favre is a Viking

I thought this would have been the last time I had to make such an announcement.

After publicly declaring several times that he was retired, wanted to stay retired, and would in no way be joining specifically the Vikings, Favre surprised no one by signing with said Vikings.

Despite what many people would have you believe, I don’t much care about Favre signing where ever he wants. And if the Vikes want to have the drama that will be surrounding this whole thing, more power to them. In fact, that’s really the tragedy about this whole thing…my apathy. This was a guy who was a god, and now I hardly even care, other than to say, “Ha, good luck with that you idiots.” How the mighty have fallen.

Oh well, at least this will distract some of the media from the Michael Vick thing in Philly.

2nd Birthday

Today’s the day, our big girl is 2!  I can’t believe how much she’s changed in the last year. Here’s to 200 more!

5 years down, 100 (or so) to go

Today celebrates the 5 best years of my life!

Every year that we’ve been together has been better than the previous year; I guess we’re picking up a certain momentum. It doesn’t seem very sustainable that every year can be better than the last, but, as crazy as it seems, I really think that it just might be possible.

I love you Sara and I love the life that we’ve made together!

RIP Michael Jackson, the King of Pop

I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes, Michael Jackson is dead.

I don’t even know what to say about that. Obviously there will always be black marks on his record, but you cannot dispute he was an icon.

The especially creepy thing? I already had a Michael Jackson post written when I heard the news! How bizarre is that? It’s like I knew somehow, like I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror. So I present my original post unaltered:

The other day I was searching for videos of Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk, like you do, and I found this awesome dance sequence. Watch until the end, and you will not be disappointed!

Say what you will about Michael Jackson, but that boy can dance.

Anyway, back to the moonwalk. Despite seeing it countless times and by countless imitators, this is still a mind-blowing thing to see. And nobody does it like the King of Pop. So, enjoy the endless moonwalk:
