Evie has officially joined the ranks of toddler as she took her first stroll today.  She has been taking a few steps here and there, but Sara is very hesitant to ever call a milestone reached.  She differentiates between “steps taken” and “walking”.  Today, however, there was no doubt.  Twice in a row she consciously left what she was standing next to and took 13 steps to another destination.  Most of the time she falls before she gets very far, but he is obviously trying.

Has there ever been a more perfectly descriptive word then “toddler”?
