So yesterday we went to Sara’s boss’ barbeque (I like spelling that out because nobody does) and there was this girl there that looked really familiar.  I asked Sara who she was and Sara was like, “Her name is Liz, she works in the lab.”  I still couldn’t place her, but when I heard the name Liz it seemed to fit so I knew I had to know her.  I asked Sara if she thought she looked familiar and she said, “Yeah, but a lot of people look familiar.”  So I was like staring at her the whole time and eventually I figure out I had to know her from APO at Purdue.  Sara was no help even though she works with this girl, so finally I had to go over and ask her.  It turns out that she has been having the same thoughts all night and was telling her friend and her friend thought she was crazy!  She said she thought Sara looked familiar but then one time she overheard her talking about NC (where she went to grad school) so she thought she must be mistaken.  But then when Sara showed up with me in tow she thought, “I definitely recognize them!”

So I didn’t really know this girl or anything, but it sure was a wierd coincidence.  She seemed nice.  Maybe Sara can become friends with her now that they have something in common!
